Cannabis customers all over Ontario were thrilled to finally get 100mg edibles from companies like Edison Jolts and Aurora Glitches. Still, suddenly, all stock has disappeared from store shelves.
We have heard calls from the community about the need and necessity of high-dose edibles. These 100Mg gummies were addressing the need in the legal market that customers had been waiting for, but due to a decision from Health Canada, these edibles have now been removed from the market.
The current legal edible limit is 10MG per packaging, which can have varying effects depending on how experienced you are with edibles. With edible experiences being subjective, it's difficult to pinpoint everyone’s MG’s needs and comfort levels.
Health Canada had chosen the ultra-conversative route of limiting packages to 10 MG’s, but most regular cannabis users say that isn’t enough.
This created the launch of Edison Jolts and Aurora’s Glitches edible lines, which were technically classified as concentrates to skirt the edible limit.
With their latest strongarm move, Health Canada shut down Organigram and Aurora’s work around the edible limit, leaving customers disappointed and looking for a new cannabis edible option.

I have been waiting 2 yrs now for a shoulder replacement. I am a 44 yr old single mom and business woman. I took one glitch or jolt 10mg 3 times daily for pain after the prescription for pain caused serious ulcers. Now, I can’t work or barely move my arm. What health treatment would health Canada expect me to try now I ask? We need something reasonable that works. Jolts and glitches definitely did that.
